Those interested in competing for the Juan Ramón Cuadrado Young Researchers Award must submit the full text of their paper at the in-person sessions of the conference.
The deadline for submissions is June 13th.
All unpublished communications that meet any of the following criteria are eligible for the award:
They must have been submitted by researchers without a PhD, regardless of age, and by researchers who have defended their thesis within the last three years.
Communications signed by more than one researcher may receive an award, provided that the award candidate is the presenter of the work, is the first author, and adequately explains their involvement or the developed part of the paper.
Therefore, the organization requests that interested parties provide us with a signed declaration stating the unpublished nature of the submitted contribution and that each of the signing authors meets the criteria.
This declaration must be scanned and emailed to the AECR (info@aecr.org). If it is not received within the specified period, the application will be rejected.
Papers nominated for the award must be presented at the corresponding special session of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies.
The jury responsible for awarding the prize will be composed of the Scientific Committee of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies and a special committee that will evaluate the presentation of the papers. The jury’s decisions are final.
The award may be declared void if the jury so deems.
The authors of the winning paper will receive a document certifying the award, which will be presented at an event held during the XLIX Reunión de Estudios Regionales and will be announced publicly during the gala dinner.
