Researchers interested in applying for the Juan Ramón Cuadrado Award for Early-Career Researchers must submit the full text of their paper during the in-person sessions of the conference.
Submission Deadline
The submission deadline is June 13.
Requirements for Submissions
1. The papers must be unpublished.
2. They must have been prepared by:
– Researchers without a PhD, regardless of their age, or
– Researchers who defended their PhD thesis within the last three years.
3. In the case of co-authored papers, the application will only be accepted if:
– The candidate presents the paper,
– Is listed as the first author, and
– Provides a clear justification of their individual contribution to the paper.
Required Documentation
Before June 13, applicants must send a signed declaration, scanned and submitted by email to info@aecr.org
Failure to submit this declaration by the deadline will result in the rejection of the application.
Presentation and Award Decision
Eligible papers will be presented during the special session of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies (XLIX Reunión de Estudios Regionales).
The jury will be composed of members of the Scientific Committee of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies and a special commission that will evaluate the presentations. The jury’s decision is final. The award may be declared void if deemed appropriate.
Recognition
The awarded candidate will receive an official certificate during a ceremony held as part of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies. The result will be publicly announced during the gala dinner.
