Researchers interested in applying for the Juan Ram\u00f3n Cuadrado Award for Early-Career Researchers<\/em> must submit the full text <\/strong>of their paper during the in-person sessions of the conference. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Submission Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The submission deadline is June 12. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Requirements for Submissions<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

1. The papers must be unpublished.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n\r\n

2. They must have been prepared by: – Researchers without a PhD, regardless of their age, or – Researchers who defended their PhD thesis within the last three years.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n\r\n

3. In the case of co-authored papers, the application will only be accepted if:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n\r\n

– The candidate presents the paper,<\/p>\r\n

– Is listed as the first author, and<\/p>\r\n

– Provides a clear justification of their individual contribution to the paper. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Required Documentation<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Before June 13, applicants must send a signed declaration<\/a><\/strong>, scanned and submitted by email to info@aecr.org<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Failure to submit this declaration by the deadline will result in the rejection of the application. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Presentation and Award Decision<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Eligible papers will be presented during the special session of the 50th Meeting of Regional Studies (50\u00aa Reuni\u00f3n de Estudios Regionales<\/em>).<\/p>\r\n

The evaluation process will be conducted by a jury comprising members of the Scientific Committee of the 50th Meeting of Regional Studies and a designated special commission.<\/p>\r\n

The final score will be determined by weighting 70% for the written paper, evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and 30% for the oral presentation, assessed by the special commission.<\/p>\r\n

The jury’s decision shall be considered final and binding.<\/p>\r\n

The award may be withheld should the jury deem that no submission meets the required standards of excellence. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Recognition<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The awarded candidate will receive an official certificate during a ceremony held as part of the 49th Meeting of Regional Studies. The result will be publicly announced during the closing ceremony of the congress<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

Conference Grant<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
