(Juan Ram\u00f3n Cuadrado Award Candidates)<\/em><\/p>\n

Within the framework of the 50th Meeting of Regional Studies organised by the Spanish and Catalan Regional Science Associations (AECR-ACCR), 10 conference grants are announced for early career researchers who submit a paper as a candidate for the Juan Ram\u00f3n Cuadrado Award.<\/p>\n

  1. Purpose of the Grant<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The grant consists of a full waiver of the conference registration fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The grant has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for financial compensation.<\/p>\n

    1. Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Applicants must:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Submit a paper as a candidate for the Juan Ram\u00f3n Cuadrado Award.<\/li>\n
      • Be non-PhD researchers or have defended their PhD thesis within the last three years.<\/li>\n
      • Commit to completing the conference registration process if awarded the grant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        1. Required Documentation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Before 12 June<\/strong>, the following documentation must be submitted by email:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Full name of the applicant.<\/li>\n
          • University or institutional affiliation.<\/li>\n
          • Brief statement of motivation (maximum 150 words).<\/li>\n
          • Curriculum vitae.<\/li>\n
          • Copy of the paper submitted for the Award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Applications must be sent to the following email address: info@aecr.org<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

            1. Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Applications will be assessed according to:<\/p>\n

                \n
              • The scientific quality and relevance of the submitted paper.<\/li>\n
              • The academic trajectory of the applicant.<\/li>\n
              • The applicant\u2019s status as an early career researcher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                The selection committee reserves the right not to award all the grants available if the submitted applications do not meet the required scientific standards.<\/p>\n

                1. Timeline<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  • Application deadline:<\/strong> 12 June<\/li>\n
                  • Notification of awarded grants:<\/strong> 19 June<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    1. In Case of Non-Award<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      Applicants whose candidacy does not receive the grant may:<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • Withdraw their paper, or<\/li>\n
                      • Pay the corresponding registration fee to keep their paper in the conference programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        Failure to complete registration within the established deadline will result in the automatic withdrawal of the paper from the conference programme.<\/p>\n
